ताऊते तूफान के बाद अब यास तूफान का खतरा मंडराता नजर आ रहा है। मौसम विभाग की माने तो यस तूफान पश्चिम बंगाल, अंडमान निकोबार, बिहार, उड़ीसा, कोलकाता, झारखंड में तबाही मचा सकता है। वहीं प्रधानमंत्री ने तैयारी के निर्देश दिए हैं। मुख्यमंत्रियों ने अपने अपने राज्यों में तूफान से लड़ने कमर कस ली है। वहीं रेलवे ने २४ मई से २९ तक करीब २५ रेल गाड़ियों को रद्द कर दिया है।
आज (24 मई) ओडिशा और पश्चिम बंगाल के तटीय इलाकों में दस्तक दे सकता है. आपको बता दें कि यस तूफान को देखते हुए यह फैसला लिया गया है। इस तूफान की वजह से पश्चिम बंगाल और ओडिशा सहित कुछ राज्यों में तेज हवाओं के साथ भारी बारिश हो सकती है। भारी नुकसान के भी संकेत है। तेज बारिश के साथ एक हफ्ता पहले कर्नाटक, मुंबई, गोवा, राजस्थान, गुजरात और पुणे में ताऊते तूफान ने तबाही मचाई थी। वहीं दूसरी ओर करीब डेढ़ साल से देश कोविड-19 की महामारी से जूझ रही है और दूसरी ओर तूफानों की तबाही और बर्बादी का आलम सहना पड़ रहा है। कच्ची और पक्की मकानों की बर्बादी और लोगों को बेघर होने पड़ रहा है।
एक हफ्ते पहले ही जबरदस्त बारिश के साथ तेज हवाएं चली और पांच मंजिला तक की इमारत चंद सेकंड ओ में ढह गई। मुंबई में और इसके बाद फिर से एक तूफान व बवंडर उठ गई है। मौसम विभाग ने खतरे की चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि समुद्र तटीय इलाकों की लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थान तक ले जाए ताकि जान माल की कोई हानि ना हो।
