पूर्व मंत्री की 7 करोड़ की संपत्ति ईडी ने किया जब्त, रिश्तेदारों के नाम पर रखा था संपत्ति
ईडी ने कहा कि उसने धन शोधन मामले में Jharkhand के पूर्व मंत्री भानु प्रताप शाही की सात करोड़ रुपये की अचल संपत्ति जब्त की है। प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने कहा कि तीन संपत्तियां राज्य के गढ़वा जिले के बभनी मौजा में और एक संपत्ति जंगीपुर गांव में स्थित है। ईडी ने एक बयान में कहा कि 6.94 एकड़ में फैली इन संपत्तियों की कीमत 13.24 लाख रुपये है। हालांकि, इन संपत्तियों का मौजूदा बाजार मूल्य सात करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा है।
ईडी ने दिसंबर 2013 में ये संपत्तियां जब्त की थी और धन शोधन रोकथाम कानून (पीएमएलए) के तहत निर्णय करने वाले प्राधिकरण ने आदेश को मंजूर किया था। मुख्यमंत्री मधु कोड़ा के नेतृत्व वाले मंत्रिमंडल में शाही स्वास्थ्य और श्रम मंत्री थे। ईडी और सीबीआई ने आरोप लगाया था कि उन्होंने 2005-09 के बीच अपने पद का दुरुपयोग करते हुए अवैध संपत्ति बनायी।
यह मामला भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों पर राज्य के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री कोड़ा और अन्य के खिलाफ दोनों जांच एजेंसियों द्वारा दर्ज शिकायत से जुड़ा है। रांची में पीएमएलए के तहत विशेष अदालत के समक्ष पूर्व मंत्री के खिलाफ धन शोधन का मुकदमा चल रहा है। ईडी ने आरोप लगाया कि झारखंड में 2005-2009 के दौरान विधायक और कैबिनेट मंत्री रहने के दौरान शाही अपने रिश्तेदारों और अन्य के साथ धनशोधन की गतिविधि में संलिप्त थे। उन्होंने सोनांचल बिल्डकॉन प्राइवेट लिमिटेड और अंगेश ट्रेडिंग कंपनी लिमिटेड के जरिए अवैध तौर पर 7,97,96,888 रुपये की संपत्ति अर्जित की. ईडी ने पूर्व में गाजियाबाद, गुरुग्राम और रांची में शाही से जुड़ी 15 अचल संपत्ति को जब्त करने की कार्रवाई की थी।
