सिविल सेवा परीक्षा स्थगित करने की मांग, केंद्र और यूपीएससी को सुप्रीम कोर्ट का नोटिस

इस साल होने वाली civil सेवा परीक्षा को स्थगित करने के लिए डाली गई एक याचिका पर suprim कोर्ट ने गुरुवार को सुनवाई की। अदालत ने इसे लेकर केंद्र और संघ लोक सेवा आयोग (upsc) को नोटिस जारी किया है। मामले की सुनवाई की अगली तारीख 28 सितंबर तय की गई है।
याचिकाकर्ताओं ने मांग की है कि बाढ़, बारिश को कोविड-19 की स्थिति को देखते हुए सिविल सेवा परीक्षा को दो से तीन महीने के लिए टाला जाए।
यह याचिका 20 यूपीएससी अभ्यर्थियों ने अधिवक्ता अलख आलोक श्रीवास्तव के माध्यम से दायर की है। याचिका के अनुसार सात घंटे लंबी इस ऑफलाइन परीक्षा में देशभर के करीब सात लाख अभ्यर्थी भाग लेंगे। इस परीक्षा के लिए देशभर में कम से कम 72 केंद्र बनाए गए हैं।
